Since graduating from JVL Wildcat in 2020, Justin has pursued a career at Citi Field. His first position was as a Cashier in the Food Service Department, and then he worked his way up to a supervisory role. Justin was promoted this season and continues to learn the ropes of being a manager. In addition to managing the food and beverage inventory, he helps resolve any discrepancies among employees. Justin has also taken a position at York College with the Buildings and Grounds team to help maintain the campus.
Justin is most proud of: “Doing good for my age at 22. I have a lot of potential and I’m proud of the path I have taken.”
Advice for future Wildcat students: “The hardest part is to get to school, but once you get there things will be simple because it is a very good school, and teachers are nice and respectful. I am happy to have gone there.”
Fun Fact: Justin was on the co-ed softball team and loved the experience.

A few days ago during a Pride event, President Biden announced that his administration hopes to counter contemptuous bills and laws that have recently passed in states targeting the LGBTQ community. He described these laws as civil rights violations: "These bills and laws attack the most basic values and freedoms we have as Americans. The right to be yourself. The right to make your own health decisions. The right to raise your children.” The President stated his administration has and will continue to take steps to protect the civil rights of LGBTQ Americans.
The President also appointed a Department of Education official to monitor the increasing number of local bans on books related to the queer community. Additionally, federal funds will be dedicated to support programs of parents of LGBTQ youth, police training on helping victims of hate crimes, and security briefings for health care providers and activist organizations.
